2019 Cronie Family Pinot Noir
The Cronie Family Vineyard is planted in rock, sand, and gravel soils that were formed as part of glacial-era Lake Penticton. This vineyard of Clone 777 vines was part of the beach sloping towards Okanagan Lake creating ideal growing conditions for Pinot Noir with warm summer days and a cooler lake breeze in the evening. The lightest of our 3 Pinots, it is fruit forward with red cherry and raspberry, balanced with vanilla spice and bright acidity. Can be lightly chilled on a hot day, this wine was aged for 12 months in 30% new, 35% second fill and 35% third fill French oak. 210 cases produced. This wine will cellar for up to 10 years.
